Five people died when a jeep carrying people met with an accident at Birendra Bazar in Dhanusha under the East-West Highway. 9 people were injured.
This morning, a jeep number 1 J 8293, which was returning from Enthari after shopping for the people of Gamharia, Pipra Rural Municipality of Mahottari, met with an accident at Birendra Bazar.
Police Superintendent of Dhanusha Vasant Rajoure informed that three women, one child and one man died. He said that the injured were sent to Dhanusha Provincial Hospital for treatment.
Other than 11-year-old S Kumar of Pipra Rural Municipality of Mahottari, 35-year-old Ruvikumari Sah of Mukhiyapatti Musaharaniya Tulsiyahi of Dhanusha, the identity of the deceased has not been disclosed.
District Police Office Dhanusha said that more details about the incident are yet to come.
